Alameda is located on an island called by the same name Alameda in the San Francisco Bay adjacent to Oakland. Alameda is also known as, The Island City. To go into and out of the island, there are three bridges at the Fruitvale Avenue, High Street and Park Street. Also, there are two one-way tunnels at the Webster Street and Harrison Street that allow access to Alameda. These bridges and tunnels connect Alameda to Oakland.
