Boulder, Colorado
Boulder is located in the northern central part of Colorado in Boulder County. Boulder is surrounded by Crisman and Salina to the northwest; Altona to the north; Longmont to the northeast; Valmont and Lafayette to the east; Broomfield to the southeast; Plainview to the south; Boulder Mountain Park and Crescent to the southwest; and Sunnyside to the west. Boulder Municipal Airport (BDU) is thirteen minutes away from downtown Boulder and is mostly used as a general aviation airport.
Denver International Airport (DEN) is the biggest public airport in the United States and it located fifty-five minutes by car from Boulder. Allegiant Air is the only commercial airline operating from Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal airport with Las Vegas as its sole destination.

University of Colorado Museum of Natural History is home of over a million of anthropology, entomology, paleontology, botany and zoology specimens and artifacts. Boulder has an extensive bike trail system, which allows residents to safely commute within the city.
