Clovis, California

Clovis is located in the central part of California in the Fresno County between Los Angeles and San Francisco.  La Palmas, Burness, Pinedale, Fresno, Edmiston, Glorieta and Gordon all surround the city of Clovis, California.  Clovis experiences warm sunny days during the summer with temperatures in the 70’s.  In the winter days tend to cold in Clovis with temperatures in the 40’s.  Some of Clovis’ major roads include: CA-168, CA-180, Front Street, Clovis Avenue, Shaw Avenue and Ashlan Avenue.

Clovis Rodeo is held on the last weekend of each April, the Clovis Rodeo has been celebrated since 1914. A parade is done on the Saturday morning of that weekend, and the Clovis Rodeo is done Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday.   

Throughout the year, Clovis has several street festivals.  Big Hat Days and ClovisFest are two of the street festivals in Clovis.  During mid-May through mid September, on every the Friday Night Farmer’s Market is held in Old Town Clovis.
