San Jose, Costa Rica is positioned between Nicaragua to the North and Panama to the South. Costa Rica has three international airports Juan Satamaria (SJO) located 15 minutes West of San Jose. Pavas (PIV) 10 minutes to the North of San Jose and Liberia, International Tomas Guardia (LIV) situated in Liberia this is in the north west part of Costa Rica. A number of airlines land at Rica's airports and the number are increasing. Airlines such as American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta, Air Canada, Taca, Lacsa, US Airways, United Airlines, Iberia, Thomas Cook, Copa, Mexica and, Martinair. The three ports of call in Costa Rica are Caldera a hour and a half to the West of San Jose, Puntarenas is ten minutes North of Caldera and the Port of Limon is approximately three and a half hours from San Jose. All three ports are used for cargo ships and cruse liners. A number of cruse ship dock such as Princesses, Holland America, Celebrity, Disney, Crystal and even the Queen Elizabeth Two (QE2)

Costa Rica's has two climates, dry season and the rainy season. Temperature averages between 22c and 28c. San Jose is 3500 feet above sea level, which keep the temperature warm to hot during the day but cool during the night. Three beech areas are always hot during the day and comfortable at night.
