Decatur also known as "The Soybean Capital of the World", is located in the eastern central part of Illinois in Macon County. Major roads serving Decatur include: Illinois State Route 105, Illinois State Route 121, Illinois State Route 48, US Route 36, US Route 51 and Interstate Highway 72.
Decatur Airport is a small public airport owned by the city of Decatur. The airport can be reached after a fourteen minutes drive from downtown Decatur. Only Great Lakes Airlines provides scheduled commercial service to Decatur Airport.
University of Illinois Willard Airport (CMI) is a small airport owned by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The airport can be reached after a one-hour and fifeteen minutes drive from downtown Decatur. University of Illinois Willard Airport is only served by a couple airlines including American Eagle and Northwest Airlink.
Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) is a small public airport, it can be reached by car after a one-hour and eighteen minutes drive from downtown Decatur.
