Santa Barbara also known as a The American Rivera is located in the southwestern part of California in Santa Barbara County.  Los Padres National Forest surrounds Santa Barbara on the north; Carpinteria and Summerland on the east; The Pacific Ocean on the south; and Goleta and Naples on the west.  Major roads serving Santa Barbara include: U.S. Route 101, California State Route 144, California State Route 154, California State Route 192 and California State Route 225.

Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) is located around fourteen minutes away from downtown Santa Barbara by car.  Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and US Airways serve Santa Barbara Municipal Airport.

Every year during August, Santa Barbara celebrates the Fiesta hosted by the Native Sons and Daughters of the Golden West.  This celebration was majorly started to bring tourist attraction to Santa Barbara.  Flower Girls and Las Señoritas are part of the Fiesta Pequeña and other parades. The Flower Girls throw roses at the crowds and Las Señoritas are their elder escorts.  The Fiesta’s booths, musical performances and festivities, majorly take place at De La Guerra Plaza.

Stearns Wharf is a pier in Santa Barbara and is the longest deep-water pier Between Los Angeles and San Francisco.  The Stearns Wharf features several shops, restaurants, and the rebuilt Ty Warner Sea Center.  The Ty Warner Sea Center is a museum, home of several exhibits such as: “Living Beach, “BioLab”, “Wet Deck”, “Moon Pool”, “Channel Theater”, “Submerged Science Lab”, Mammal Mezzaine” and “Whale Karaoke”.
